Yes, the site is done and working!
What are your initial thoughts on it?
We designed it to be easy and intuitive to use for getting the latest news on our projects, as well as catching up on the newest videos and images released.
Let me go through the interface with you:
That's right, the TokArts website has just launched!
Let me quickly guide you through the interface:
At the top of the page you'll see the main menu. Home leads you to our homepage.
The homepage of the site includes links to the descriptions of all of our games, for newcomers to get up to speed on our projects, as well as quick ways to access the most recent videos of our most popular video series on the right: Let's Make a Trading Card Game and Game Development Livestreams. Also, at the bottom you can find the most recent updates posted on the site.
Games also leads you to the descriptions of our games. These pages in the future will also contain videos tutorials on how to play the game, links to the rulebook, and links to products you can buy in the Store related to the game.
Updates leads you to the Updates timeline, where you can get up to speed to the latest news related to our games, images, videos, as well as everything else going on with TokArts. You can filter the updates by topic by clicking on the different tags.
Media leads you to our Videos and Images pages, where you can browse all of the images and videos on the site. You can filter the content by topic and by type by clicking on the different tags.
Community leads you to our Forum section, but obviouslt if you’re reading this you already know that! Here you can create threads related to different topics and join discussions. At the moment our Forums are almost empty, why not be one the first people to post there?
Login, as the name implies, leads to you the login page, where you can sign up to the site and become a member. Members get additional behind-the-scenes good stuff like extra art, game development articles, as well as the ability to join discussions in our forums!
Have a nice stay on the website; it's great to have you!
Oh, and by the way: the forums section needs some work, but I'm not sure how exactly to improve it to make it more user-friendly: what are your thoughts? How would you like the forums here to work?
