i would just like to see what people think are good cards/sets for this game. sets must have a name, theme and reason you thought of it. card ideas are like this:

destroy a non homeworld planet you own and replace it with an astrioad card: gain 20p

this seams something that violet world do, destoy a planet to gain the resourse it has inside

That's completely broken for that cost. For the card to be balanced it would have to cost something closer to 8 resource, maybe 10. Also, there are problems that arise when you put resource on a card that's not a planet, because you can't use that resource, it goes away.
This kind of ability will be in the game, in fact there's already a card in the card file that does something similar, even in the very first set.
It will appear very rarely, because it's such a devastating effect.

Also: it's violet, not purple.
Also, there are no such things as spells in Multiverse: Cosmic Conquest.

I don't think it's going to be very useful coming up with random cards with so little context. I mean, it doesn't hurt to come up with ideas, in fact I higly encourage it, but it's going to be much more useful coming up with cards once you're familiar with the fully updated rulebook and cardset.
I'm going to create a thread similar to this one in the private development subforum for Multiverse: Cosmic Conquest by March 14th 2016. There we'll be able to discuss possible card ideas with more context.

In terms of set ideas, that's a much more interesting topic. I have a few expansion set ideas in the works, but I'm always open for suggestions and new ideas :lol:

My card idea would be:
Twisted galaxy - action
I don't know how much it would cost
It would ether "reshuffel the intire galaxy" or just "swap two planets"
I just think it would be fun to play

This is an idea I've been trying out and it really is fun :) It also works in-game pretty well. I don't know if there's going to be enough space for it in the base set, because it doesn't really go in any specific strategy, but I'll definitely keep it in mind and use it in the future.

a fan made set based around robots
will contain around 230 cards.

contains a new resource/mechanic: SCRAP
