As you've probably noticed if you have been paying attention to my latest videos, I'm now working as a pixel artist on a 2D RPG called Towards the Pantheon.
I'm using a 16-color palette invented by DawnBringer on Pixeljoint.com and I'm trying to capture the style of old 8-bit and 16-bit JRPGs. Sprites and tiles have a simplistic style with generally only 2 colors of shading, while cutscenes and character portraits use the full 16-color palette.
What do you guys think of the artstyle for the game? Do you have any comments or suggestion?
Keep it up!
